Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet played a huge factor in getting us excited about the release of their new film Dune, which arrives in theatres on 22 Oct. Throughout the press tour for the film — which took the cast from Venice to London — not only did we get more glimpses of the actors' budding friendship, but we were also treated to some of the most exciting red carpet fashion we've seen in years.
The press tour kicked off at the Venice International Film Festival on 3 Sept. After doing a joint photocall with the film's cast, Zendaya and Timothée wowed fans — no really, how could anyone forget Zendaya's wet-look Balmain gown — when they walked the red carpet together for a screening of the film. Timothée looked equally striking in a shimmering black Haider Ackermann suit and Cartier jewels.
From Italy, the cast moved on to France for the film's Paris premiere, where the duo coordinated in cool-toned ensembles that gave us major disco vibes. Zendaya took our breath away yet again in a decadent aubergine coordinated set from Alaïa's winter/spring 2022 collection, while Timothée rocked a denim Tom Ford suit.
The next stop on the tour was London, where Zendaya and Timothée both opted for British designers for a photocall on Sunday, 17 Oct. "When in London…wear @viviennewestwood," Zendaya wrote of her look on Instagram, which was a top and skirt set from the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood spring 2020 collection. And we see why she chose this specific outfit: the chain-covered bodice and asymmetrical checkered skirt had a post-apocalyptic feel, perfectly in line with the film's theme. Timothée, on the other hand, chose a more whimsical ensemble for the occasion. His custom suit and shirt were inspired by a dress from the Stella McCartney summer 2021 collection that featured the same blue-and-yellow mushroom print.
Keep reading to see these looks from all angles, as well as the rest of Zendaya and Timothe Chalamet's best style moments from the Dune press tour.
